This is inexpensive, can be purchased at Joann's (use a coupon) and works wonders. I wouldn't undo that quilt if it were mine. The quilt is as cute as can be and an applique would not hurt it, but this should fix it similarly to the mending stuff mentioned before, but a lot easier. Have a good day, and don't stress over all our advice. :) |
I would just take the block out. I would 't be happy leaving it in and giving it away. You could also just open it enough to make that seam just a hair larger.

Cut out one of those circles from the material on the quilt and applique it over it spot. No one but you would know it wasn't suppose to be there.
