I've admired that pattern for quite some time. Beautiful job. I would think a creamy beige for christmas fabrics. Some even have a subtle gold running through the fabric. Sometimes a crisp white is the best too if you are doing bright reds and greens versus the more "country" burgundies and forest greens.

Those were some of my thoughts about sashing, too. I think white could be nice if your main colors read "crisp". But if they run more "country", a golden beige might be nice. This is just a wonderful topper & it looks great on your table! Is this the pattern she makes from a layer cake?

Looks wonderful, for the Christmas one, gold sounds good, or a white or cream background with a scattered holly print

Very pretty. A beautiful gold glittered beige or white would go lovely with red/green.

If you go to www.quiltinaday.com and click on free videos it'll bring up different series. Summer porch is under "quilts through the seasons". It's an easy quilt with a lot of possibilities.

Thanks. In her video she used fat quarters which I think may have been from a collection.

Thanks to all. I will go with beige as my greens and reds are mostly more muted/country.
