Would you please let us know what the pattern is for the tan runner? It is so unique that I feel you made it up, but hope not. Love them both. Glenda

Hi Glenda and everybody else who asked about the top runner, the one I call Coconut Cream: that is my own pattern that I am hoping to get published in early 2012. The pattern is being tested. One person had no problem with the directions while another tester struggled a bit. So I want to keep working on my diagrams and written instructions. I am also going to register my design and my "company" name to be ready for the next pattern. Thank you very much for your nice remarks.

Cool! Make sure you post here once you have it published so anyone wanting the pattern can help support your efforts!

Bed runner

Love the blue runner, but am not sure why you use a runner. Can someone enlighten me. Ta.

A bed runner is kind of like a table runner - you display it at the end of your bed usually over a light spread or plain sheet. I have made 3 using the D9P pattern with 9 inch blocks to make the D9P. the runners are usually 36 to 42 inches wide and the length is determined by the size of your bed and how much drop you desire. Mine for a queen was 2 x 8 and I did not add borders. I made two for wedding gifts and they were well received - used soft whites, beiges and taupes one had a aqua highlight and the other a mauve. Hope this helps not sure maybe I posted a photo.
