! Welcome to the community! The most important thing to remember is that you made a quilt! If there are what you call mistakes (what we prefer to call design elements), no one will even notice. You will learn things with every quilt you make. Some of us have been quilting for decades and we still are learning new things and how to improve on the old ways. We all also have UFO's (unfinished objects) on our shelves that we may never finish partly because they became work and stop being fun. If something becomes troublesome, sit it down, go for a walk, have some wine, relax. It will still be there when you return and usually you will be able to see the problem and solve it. it will bring you a lifetime of joy (and gifts). Love your helpers.

Making quilts are enjoyable, glad you enjoyed the process. My first was a rail road quilt.

Woo-Hoo!!! What a wonderful first quilt. You should be very, very proud of how it turned out. Looks like your quilt inspectors approve of what you have done. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Excellent first quilt. When your little furry guys like it then its a job well done. And it looks good, too.

Wonderful! Beautiful choice of fabrics and nice design. And clearly you don't need our approval, because you got the most important approval you need! The canine seal :).
Hope to see more of your quilts in the coming years. Congratulations on an awesome job! |
