For those who are interested, it is basically 4 1/2 inch (unfinished) blocks, some are a 4-patch made from 2 1/2 inch squares and the others are white 4" blocks with 2 corners done in a solid and 4 of those made the "star" around a 4-patch. At the risk of copyright infringement, that's about it.

very nice quilt and I really like the idea of flannel on the back sooooo warm.

That is such a beauty! The bright colours of the stars really make it "pop"!
