I've never heard about having someone pick the border fabric and working around that--what a cool idea!!

Since this pattern will be done in my quilting room this year (Moda fabrics)--I can't wait to see how this goes. Will you post pics as you're putting it together?? Pretty please? :-D

I have changed all of the fabrics to suit the bride-to-be choice of border fabric. Here is the border fabric.

This fabric is the main border fabric.I used the border fabric to pull the others from, but after seeing it in the two blocks and knowing that is the only place it will be, I am beginning to wonder if it was the right decision or not.

Please let me know what you think!

Are you asking: Is that fabric as sophisticated as the other fabrics in the quilt?

maryb119 02-22-2011 04:46 PM

Pretty blocks! I would like to see the finished quilt.

joey 03-02-2011 10:10 PM

I like it, I like it. Beautiful work.

LDB 03-12-2011 10:44 AM

So gorgeous I had to search BOM/kit. Funny, though, the colors I found on the internet looked different than those in your post and I didn't like the kit fabric as well. Searched out all of your listings and found you changed all the fabric! No wonder! Can you list what you are using? Would like to use the same or similar materials. Thx.

marmalade 04-13-2011 08:32 AM

I am going to anxiously await completion of this quilt. So far, all the blocks are stunning!

So that's what my BOM is suppose to look like. Guess I better get going on it.

Good Job!

I love that border fabric! I'm starting this this summer for my d-i-l and son.... and the border will be the last one we pick! I wonder how easy that will be?

If you have hints--please share! Jenny doesn't like the bear paw block as much--so she's picked another to repeat.
