I love the print too. I wouldn't want to cut it up much. Large pieces would show the print best.

I like the wide strips. You could alternate with strips of your fabric and strips of a green Christmas fabric of some sort - maybe a blender or another novelty fabric that was similar in theme to your red one. Would kind of look like a promenade down 5th Avenue.

Where did you order the fabric from? I sure do like it. It will make up into a fun quilt.

Quick strippy or warm wishes. you could really have fun with that strip quilt, adding maybe some metallic reds or greens

I like the idea of making a simple 9 patch using colors from the busy sidewalks fabrics. Besides the dark green, I'd get lighter green, red, pink, and small size holiday prints to make the 9 patch. Then I'd use the sidewalk fabric for the alternating setting squares between the 9patch squares. If you cut your 9 patch squares at 4 1/2", it would make a 12" block (after all seams are sewn) then you could cut your sidewalks fabric at 12 1/2".

A black border and binding would pick up the bits of black in the print and set off the top.

Thanks! Here is a pic of the fabric so you can see what I am talking about-- |
I love the attic windows idea!
