It is so pretty. I think I'd have a hard time deciding, too! Applique seems like a great solution. Or embroidery.

Sorry to outside the box but looks like a blouse to me. I would love to wear it with beige jeans.

My thought would be to choose a quilting pattern to fit it and then quilt the entire piece. I think I could look at this & always enjoy it.

I see applique butterflies, maybe a fence in front, a garden. Landscape background.

One other suggestion- leave it as it is and overstitch it with french knots and all kinds of other decorative stitching. It is beautiful.

One of my distant goals is to make a french knot picture. I have a wonderful book with examples. This would be a great background to use for that then frame it for the wall. My problem is lack of wall space.
