I'd be interested to know too...I had planned to send it back usps, which is $10.95 for a medium flat rate...I'm guessing that's the best rate I'll get thru them for mailing back 2 quilts.

I've been hearing about this project for a long time, but never really looked into it until recently. And since I really enjoy making charity quilts, I thought I'd put my effort to this one for a while.

As the first picture shows, all the pieces came pre-cut...just have to put it together. You have to provide your own batting and machine stitch it up real good, and then return it. They also encourage you to include additional quilts with it.

This is my first one with the project, and I plan to commit to make a few more with them before selecting a new charity.

That is wonderful to see more people doing this for charity. I make some quilts for them every year. I did one in the same fabrics you are using. It's fun fabric. :)

Love the fabric, not sure that I like it for the quilt, but it's a very playful fabric.

I made a small quilt for them in 2010. It was fun fabrics with fire and rescue vehicles. I was able to finish it in a little more than a day. It made me feel good, too.

Ok, now that I'm back in the quilting business - I am no longer bed ridden! I put the 2nd border on the front of the quilt and put it together to for quilting.

I pinned the heck out of it and started....I practiced on my other child quilt and it came out so so...so I'm hoping this one will come out much better since I want to be able to send them a premium quality quilt.

It's a start and I haven't had to rip anything out yet....I'll do the rest tomorrow and show you the final product.
