You did a great job stitching this quilt. I can't wait to see it finished. Thanks for sharing the link.

Very cute! Do they send the backing material too? Sorry if you already answered that question.

Your post also reminded me that I did check with a local QFK and they should be sending me a kit.

Yes, they sent everything but the batting and the thread.

I was a little nervous with this backing because it needed to be centered (4panel print backing).

Thanks!! I will have to watch for the centered backing!

Ok, I have finally finished the quilt and am throwing it in the washer as we speak.

Lots of new challenges - had a blast doing it - will definitely be doing some more.

I still need to finish up my extra quilt that will be going back with it. I've only got the binding to do on that one and then I'll be done.

I am waiting to get my kit to get an idea of the fabrics they use. As I don't have young kids and don't have any kids fabric in my stash. It will be fun picking the material out for the one I send. I really like the patterns they have on their website. They look simple enough I can do it! lol

Will you post a picture of the one you are sending back? Please!

I'm trying to post...it's just sitting in limbo...I've got about 5 pics I wanted to add. I'll keep trying.

borders and binding - I wrapped the back side fabric around and used it as the binding because it had beautiful vines on it.

This is the back side - It was a real challenge for me to center this 4-rectangle panel. The panels were too big to fit on the backside, so I had to center them as much as possible and then I wrapped it around to the front and used the vine edging for the border. I surprised my own self! No flub ups or major puckers.

And the final product - I personally don't like so much white in the quilt - but I think it came out beautiful!

Yes it did turn out beautiful! I am not into so much white either. I am sure some little kid will love it!!

CarolLady - I'll post a pic of the other one once my camera charges back up.
