I don't think a twin quilt would make a good wedding gift, unless the couple were very old fashioned. :lol

I have very little family and no friends that would want/need a twin size. I just hate to see it sit in my attic not being used but I don't have a wall for it either and it really wouldn't go with my decor at all.
chairjogger: what a coincidence! I can understand why you cherish that quilt so much, I would too! I'll bet it is beautiful in blues!!

I would seriously do a search for a licensed quilt appraisals. Contact the nearest quilt museum in your area or next state. They may know who to contact. Also do a google search. It is a wonderful quilt. Sometimes at the larger quilt shows they have appraisers at the site of the show.

I don't have a need for it since we don't have twin size beds anymore. I'm thinking of selling it.

If there was a helper hall of fame, your hubby would be the grand display!

BTW, beautiful quilt!

Hubby's pic certainly should be used for something good.

What about just copied for note cards from you!

Me too. And the dog seems bewildered to find to find Daddy lying on the ground. He's a very puzzled fur kid.

That is a very pretty quilt. I have no clue what you could get for it, but wanted to say that keeping it in a plastic bag is not a good idea. It would be better to roll or gently fold it and place it in a cotton pillowcase or sheet. Even better, keep it on a guest bed, protected from sunlight.

if there is an up coming quilt show in your area they at times have an appraiser available- for a fee you can have your quilt appraised- then you will know what it is worth before selling it- and you can include the appraisal as part of the sale.

But...its only worth what someone will pay for it...
