It's a beautiful quilt. While you don't have any twin beds, why not put it on a bed you do have, either as a topper with one underneath to cover the sides of the bed. Or under the bedspread and just use it.
If you don't want it ... ITA with the others, a donation back for another raffle would be a great offering. Even better, if you could give it back to the same group that it came from when you won it. Good Luck! |
With all that handwork done on it I would ask at least $100 or up. And the 2nd picture of your husband and dog is just adorable!

Thank goodness Toby didn't raise his hind leg!!!!  You have some good suggestions. I would have a hard time pricing it too!!

Please take your quilt out of the plastic bag and store it in a old pillow case, or on a quest bed and keep it covered with other quilts or bedspread or a cedar chest the idea is to keep it from the light so it does not fade. If you have quilts folded and stored it's a good idea to refold them every three or four months. Quilts need to be able to breath. I have worked with many appraisers and storing quilts is always a topic they cover.
Just thought I would pass it on. Thanks |
What a beautiful quilt. I would keep it and display it as a wall hanging or hang on a quilt rack. Too beautiful to sell or give away. No one will take care of it like you will.
|
Gorgeous quilt... lucky you! But please take it out of the plastic bag, air it, then when you refold it, put in in a 100% cotton pillowcase, NOT a plastic bag.
|
Its beautiful. Take it to an appraiser and see if you can get a good idea from them.
