Thanks for all the comments. I will get my machine back on Nov 22nd. I think I have had my Bernina for about 13 yrs and only had it serviced once. The lady that took the machine in and wrote it up on the computer, looked at me and said "only once?" I have cleaned and oiled it myself often. I ask her to have the repair person tell me how many stitches are on the machine. I will let you know what happens? I also took the walking foot there and ask to be checked because it makes a lot of noise when I am using it.

The saying about John Deer and Berninas is almost the same.

I do not remember what the batting was called but is was special for in microwave.

Almost looks like the stack I have. Aren't we lost without our machines? This just gives you time to cut out more. BrendaK

Sorry to hear about your machine. Hope you are back in business real soon! Every time I make one of these for my self, someone sees it and I end up giving it to them. I am making them for all the family for Christmas :)

Very nice project. You really have been busy

oh my, that is a nice pile of cozies! I've had a couple requests for more, 1 daughter wants a casserole size cozy.

I got my old kenmore machine out and it works fine. Does not fit good in the hole in my table but I am only making pot holders so I can live with it. The shop called me and said they have to order a part for my machine so I won't get it back until after thanksgiving. I have a viking machine with a walking foot but if you have not used it for some time, it will need service, so I did not get that one set up. How do you keep all your machines running at once? My room is not big enough to have 3 or four machine set up so you can do different work on each? How do you other people do that?
