I think we come somewhat from the same mold except I could only claim the husband and animals! I was born and raised with Holsteins, then Jerseys entered our lives and found my soft spot. I've been thinking about doing a Jersey, though their shading is not so simplified as the B+Ws! :) Registrations ... nope! We always did pics! :) And yes, me too, my ♥ is still there on the farm! |

Cows are gone. Now we have dorset sheep. We wanted to maintain the buildings and pastures and not be as labor intensive. Even traded the square baler for a round one. No more unloading bales for me.
We both work full time off the farm. I miss the day to day planning and working together. The just being on the same property...it's hard to explain. It's just a satisfaction of the heart. |

I had to wind things down when my husband took ill ... then later sold it all a few years after he passed. I still have my aggie connections to help my ♥ ... just not the same!
