That is one of my fav blocks to make but keep forgetting to set blocks on point. Just love it....back to my design wall...hmmm.

Nice quilt. I always loved Thimbleberries fabric. Was able to visit her store in Hutchison, MN, several years ago. I also love seeing your nice green grass! Ours is mostly covered with snow right now!

I, too, have always loved Thimbleberries fabric. You did a great job tying the blocks together with your combinations of gold and wouldn't consider them too dark at all.

I'm not familiar with the Thimbleberries line, but I think your quilt is lovely. The fabric reminds me of reproduction, or Civil War, fabric. The quilting is very beautiful too.

I like your choice of background color it makes the blocks pop! So frequently backgrounds are white, cream or black that it is easy to forget that other colors can make a quilt come alive. this is one of those quilts where the background brings the quilt to life. I love it.
