If your packaging this for sale, you would spend the less amount of time cutting and piecing #1. Takes less work, and it describes exactly what you are trying to present. Although you could include directions for one of the other two as a bonus. 2 and 3 do look alike just with different colors. I do like the color combo. Good luck in your endeavors.

I like #2 if you change the light blue fabric to the darker blue fabric used to create a star. I also think #1 is good because it is simple and shows the basic block your ruler makes.

Funny how I always seem to be out of the loop because my first impression was that I liked 1 and 3 but not 2! Weird huh!

To sell the ruler, I would show off the first and second block.
Some will see it's versatility all the way around, but others need more of a visual. :D:D:D |
