    Hope you don't mind me posting my progress (slow as it is) on the choice of border I asked you all for help choosing. I picked the one on the right with the dots. Hope you like it. And the picture of the houses ready to applique is a peek at the next border. After that I am not sure yet.

    I love it!! We learned in quilt guild to always end your work with figured or darker borders. Our eyes can't tell when it is ending with a light-colored border. I have tried it out, and that does seem to be true for me. If we look at a piece of art--(quilts are also art, I learned!) our eyes scan the piece, resting in between looks. I didn't experience this! Then the eyes travel to the borders, and with the dark borders, they can tell that is the end of the piece.
    Love the houses! Haven't made those yet.
