Thanks everyone, I think that I would love to actually get together with Blue and did a little quilting, I would like to maybe do this one smaller as well, I cut it 3 1/2 little squares and the HST are 3 7/8 and lots of them. The large ate 9 1/2 and 9 7/8. THe little one shouldn't take as long if nothing else. Nana was amazed that I did it with just a picture of the quilt. She did an awesome job helping me this weekend getting everything done.

    We'd be amazing wouldn't we! :D

Mine is exactly the same size... which is awesome because now I can picture exactly how big it will be.

    LOL

Wonders will never cease.... I took hubby into the dungeon to show him the progress (no more since the above photo, you guys aren't missing out ;-)).

Now, hubby is colour blind, and the colours he does see, his tastes are very different to mine. So the majority of the time his comments are technical "you did a nice job on those points dear" type thing.

But this one he looked at and said "wow, I really like that". I looked at him suspiciously and said "can you see the colours?" and he replied he could and that he really liked it. I nearly fell over backwards! LOL

So I doubt the kids will get anywhere near this one, it may end up on our bed!

THat is awesome blue, it was meant to be. THere had to be a reason that you picked out those colors to begin with, some days I am not sure why I pick certain colors, some of mine are definitely questionable until the quilt is done.

Awesome! I like the Lone Star too. Your fabric and color choices really are great. It's going to be a stunning quilt when you're done. Are you paper piecing this?
I have a couple of Karen Stone quilt patterns, ULS2 and An Unusual Lone Star, both paper pieced. I wouldn't attempt either one if not paper pieced.
