Default Project for roadtrip

My DH and I are heading out on a road trip for a few weeks...down to Asheville, New Orleans and then down to Key West to see our son, DIL and grandsons. I am going to go through withdrawals not being able to sew but I prepared this appliqué project for the car ride. It is a free pattern on Anna Maria Horner’s blog and I used some of her fabric along with a bit of Kaffe.

I love the fabrics you've chosen.
What a neat arrangement.
Are you doing needle turn or blanket stitch or some other way?

I love your fabrics. I can't sew in the car, it's too bumpy.

That is beautiful. I can't work on anything because I do the driving.
