We made it!! Grad is Saturday and the quilt is done. We had it quilted by a longarm quilter and she did a fabulous job putting musical notes interspersed with lightening zigzags. She used variegated thread to reflect the colours in the top and added stitching detail (strings, frets, knobs) to the guitar in black thread. I tried a new binding method and it worked so well it's what I plan to use from now on. Overall happy with the whole thing :)

musical notes of all sizes and types
