rEALLY LIKED THE IDEA OF ALL THE DOLL QUILTS. i NEVER THOUGHT OF USING THEM AS TABLE TOPPERS, ETC. i LIKE MAKING THEM FROM LEFT OVER SCRAPS AND QUILT PIECES. aS SOMETIMES WHEN DOING A PROJECT, I MAKE SAMPLE BLOCKS BEFORE I MAKE THE ACTUAL BLOCK I AM GOING TO PUT INTO THE PROJECT - ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS A NEW TYPE OF BLOCK.

I was Kris's SP pal and I can tell you that the mug rug is really beautiful and she did a great job with the FMQing.
I was using it tonight with my mug of peppermint tea.

awwwwwwww Janet - I'm so glad you like it! I meant to ask you, did you find the hedge hog pin cushion pattern? I tried making one for you but it ended up looking like a mouse. I decided to send you the patterns because I"m sure yours will turn out better than mine...

oh there really wasn't a pattern. I found a pumpkin applique on google, printed it out and traced over it using heat 'n bond lite..

I made some appliqued pumpins on flour sack towels using a different pumpkin applique I found online. I'll have to post a picture of them. They make great gifts when you add a bottle of nice kitchen hand soap from Bath & Body.

I have made the hedgehog before and mine turned out looking like a mouse too. But guess what. If you make them out of wool and fill them with catnip the cats go crazy for them.I have made them for all my friends with furbabies. You were a great SP by the way. Loved everything you sent
