that is adorable. I did one with little boys doing this and that and embroidered on white squares with puppy fabric all around each embroidered area, in their own squares. That was a while back.

My grandmother crochet'd and she made all her grand kids blankets. I was the oldest and at 10 I had my choice of what I wanted. As I grew I continued to "collect" her creations. I am 49 and her love moves with me from room to room . The blankets are in great condition for being so old and still being used.

My kids will now inherit a beautiful heirloom from their great grand mother.

So don't worry how many she will receive. They will all get loved!!!!
Thank you! I needed that confirmation! I don't think she can have too many! The next one is a panel with little dresses in each square. They have retro prints, and the squares are edged in ric rac. It's all such a neat 3-D type print, that it looks like everything is appliqued on! I'll stitch around everything and add borders:)
ON ourlast trip up to Portland, we took our DDIL her grandmother's cedar chest. It was FILLED with crocheted shawls and throws:)
The next quilt sounds adorable! I love little dresses!
I have my grand mother's chest also!OMG!!! Oh to have the shawls and throws would be such a treat! I hope your DDIL treasures them!!!
