    you made me feel so good this a.m. since I just did something similar last night. I can soooooooo relate. It is a lovely quilt and I am sure will be well cherished.

    Just tell her when you got close to the bottom of the steps you tured and went the other way. They look like steps to me. It still a pretty quilt

    That is just your "artistic" swing on the pattern. I have discovered now that I take a pic of everything because I have found several "oops" that way that I didn't notice before the pic. If she notices it, just tell her you were getting bored with the repetition of the pattern and decided to liven it up a little :roll: :lol:
