    Default Purple Iris Wallhanging

This is a Northcott "Vintage Iris - Purple" panel that I purchased last year sometime. My MIL's favorite colors are purple and green so it was perfect for her. I did a lot of stitching following the lines around the border and outlined the iris' and the vase and then stuffed them with poly fill. I then attached the panel to some stretcher bars and covered the staples with a backing. It really looks 3D. She was pleased with it too (which isn't always the easiest thing to do!!!)

Very Pretty!! Love the purple and green together. Before I started quilting(well trying to) two years ago purple was not one of the colors I liked much at all, since I am always looking at fabric now I keep going to the purples and finding more purple that I really like.
