Purple Milky Way

This is a wedding gift for my niece. I pieced both the front and the back (the sun was bright, so the back looks a little washed-out in the photo). It is the Milky Way--a traditional pattern. It finished at about 90" x 90".

Yes, it is purple! I'm pretty much purple-out, but it was a request of the bride--her favourite colour!

Your quilt is lovely! Purple is my favourite colour and I love the clean crisp look of this quilt. The bride should be pleased with her new, beautiful quilt.
