    WOW!!! That's G R E A T for your first one. I just love the color purple. The 1st pic almost look like a Bargello at first.

    I like it!! My mom and I did a queen size log cabin for my daughter's MIL, and we LOVED doing that block for a large quilt. It went so fast. Once you have tried other more complex blocks, you will realize that the log cabin is fast and easy compared to others. It is still one of my favorites, even after 4 years of quilting.

    Bargello is a strip pieced pattern that is relatively easy. Go to the top of the page to Search, type in Bargello, and you will see several, including a tutorial.
