Default Purpose for my Black Batting

This quilt top is why I was asking questions about the $22.00 roll of back batting I bought.

This is my string quilt top I just finished sewing together. I am appliquing the flower etc.
I will put a 3" string border around the edge, then about a 5" black marble border around that.

Another question: should I bind all that in a color, picked out ofthe strings, like red, or green or yellow?
Or should I sew a lot of strings together end to end and use that for a binding?

    Thanks!

WOW! Your quilt is beautiful. I would bind it in the black marble. JMHO

Very pretty. Why not audition some colors and see which one you like best.

I probably wouldn't have to audition any colors 'cause red is my favorite

I'm going to change those petals around (they're just pinned). It seems I have the red stipes all on one side of the flower. My bad.

I like to match the binding to the border fabric, if I have enough.

    Beautiful quilt.

This quilt is really a work of art! Bravo!! I think that a red binding would really make a statement.
