Purrr-ple Passion
I was in my LQS and she had this gorgeous fat quarter bundle from Stonehenge, Garden Party. Immediately I knew who that fabric was for - my best childhood friend, who's always had a passion for purple, and has a few felines.
I was surfing the net a few days later and stumbled onto a quilt made with the FQ - but instead of buying it, I just sketched it out. I'm sure I'm probably a little off on some of the measurements but I think it's close enough. It only took about 2 hours to sew the top.
I added one of the Buggy Barn's Crazy Cats to the back of the quilt. Quilted with a Cat pano.
These pictures are fresh off the LAQ just after it's trim.
