They are great looking bags! I made 6 totes for the bridal party last year. They get addicitng- the first is the hardest and before long, they're easy as pie!

Addicted? Who's addicted?? Not me! I can quit at any time... well maybe just one more. You see, I have this fabric... Oh! Addicted! I get it.

Snap bag? I need to go look that one up. I've not made one of those. Yet! I do have a Simplicity pattern to try out this week!!!

I think the draw of these bags, for me, is that they can be made in a day or so. I spent several months completing several UFOs and needed a break. This is a great way to do that. Your still playing with fabric but it's almost instantaneous satisfaction with a completed project. Great fun!

For all of you that haven't jumped in, hurry! It won't hurt a bit! I promise. You'll just have way too much fun. Trust me!

Thank you for all the sweet comments!

The Potato Chip Bag pattern is by Paula Hughes of Quilt Country, 701 S. Stemmons #60, in Lewisville, Tx. 75067 The phone number listed on the pattern is 972-436-7022

I picked my pattern up in a kit at one of our local quilt stores,
    http://scottiedogquilts.com.qtrop.net/
I know she has the pattern but I don't see it on her web site.

    Hope this helps.

Hey! I just tried googling "potato chip bag pattern" and there are several sites that are selling this pattern. Of course there were several listed that were making purses out of actual potato chip bags! Choose carefully!

I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one that is loving this slight change of pace in the world of quilts.
