I bought the pattern, but never did anything with it. Your Santa Clause purse inspired me. I'll bet I couldn't possibly find just the right fabric in my stash. I better go to the LQS first and see what they have

Love your purses. I've been wanting to make some of these. I haven't tried making purses yet. These are beautiful. I guess I need to break down and buy this pattern.

May I ask how you plan to price your purses? I made a few a cpl. of yrs. ago. I researched Ebay for ideas on pricing & found they can run from $40 to $85. So when neighbors raved about them & wanted to buy one, they ran like bunnies when I told them I'd like $40 the lowest price I found. I was so insulted & these were good friends. I don't know what they expected. I think that's a very fair price considering the work that goes into them. I'd like to make more just for the fun of it but not if I'm just stuck with them piling up. I would have happily gifted one to a cpl. of people but I knew they just wanted to regift them. Not on my dime thank you. Pat
