My 12-year old DGD picked out the Carpenter Star and the backing -- I call it "Meandering Ameoba" because that's what the variegated thread looks like on the black.
My 13-year old DGS picked out the Embers gradient pattern -- he said, "Mimi, it will make my bed look like it's on fire!" That's for sure! So I named it "Bed's on Fire." (I made the back dark in case he needs to calm down.)
The Amish-looking on-point one is for my 16-year old DGS -- hope it looks sufficiently Goth. Since I managed to cut the tips off the top "mountains," I'm calling it "Pointless."
I still have the binding handwork to finish -- and a drive from Little Rock to Philadelphia next week. Eeek!

Not too bright for me! I think they are all beautiful and your teen Gkids should love them. Did they pick out any of the colors?
