What a beautiful quilt you've made - everything about it is "Dress Right, DRESS" as my DH would say. I'm suspecting your brother-in-law's port may have been Port Hueneme - a beautiful area that is very near my childhood home. Please extend our appreciation for his service - from our retired Navy family to yours

Thanks to all of you for your kind words and wishes. I will definitely tell him how so many people thanked him for his service. I think we all know how that went for the returning vets at that time. Thanks, again.

I think everyone has expressed how I feel about your beautiful, special quilt. Just add a great big thank you for his service. I have met a vet from WWII and he has neuropathy and jungle rot on his feet. Because they swell so bad he wears sandals and no socks. (normal socks even diabetic socks cut off the circulation to his feet) I have been making him polar fleece socks from the Green Pepper Press patterns. He loves them. Nice to find special ways to honor our vets.
