    Default QOV-Check out the Stars

Hi Quilters, I’m running out of names but this has a lot of stars and check/ gingham so
… our group leader asked me to look online and see if I liked any fabrics for our valor quilts. I suggested about 8 or 10 and I think she bought all the bolts! Anyway the flag and the printed squares were a panel I cut apart. Yes, this was another panel passed onto me, in fact I had 2. I ‘borrowed’ one square from the other panel so I’d have 10 printed sqs. Now I have just 8 when I make the other panel into a quilt. I love the check material. I hope the veteran does too. The red looks so dark, almost black, in the picture but it’s dark red. Size is 63 x 81. Have a nice day!-Toogie

Very nice!! Thinking outside the box often makes the most spectacular tops. I think some veteran will be honoured to receive your quilt.

I love the check material too! The dark red is lovely and the gingham makes me smile. You are so talented to come up with the lovely layouts that you do to create your one of a kind quilts to honor the veterans. Thanks for sharing your quilts with us!
