    Work in progress. Wish me luck. The panels are 18" square.
    Will tack all panels with dark green cotton thread. Will have to decide before sewing them together if I want the "rag" to show on the top of quilt or the bottom. Any ideas please will be appreciated.

    I like to see the raggy edges on the front. Be sure to quilt the blocks before sewing them together.

    I like the raggy edges on the top as well. Looks great, can't wait to see the finished quilt.

    I am making a flannel rag quilt for my elderly Aunt Pam now - my first rag quilt. I like the rag on the top-that is the point, for the rag to show. Can't wait to see yours finished!
