    it sounds about right-
    figure your costs x 3 for a good guideline.
    remember to add in batting and thread.

    if I was going to sell quilts I think I would do theme quilts. I would think that it would be easier to sell...a cat quilt, I love Lucy, Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland. Things that people collect, or treasured memories. Many older movies that a person can not go to Walmart and buy. Sadly people have no clue what the cost of the materials are. I also would make them with Quilt material. They are thicker and nicer than the quilts made from a department store.

    I would do theme ones but I already had these made up. I have another one but can't seem to find it. Which really stinks because I loved it for a boy quilt.
