    Default Quick baby quilt :D

I found out last Wednesday a couple at church had received a baby to adopt after a long, long time of being unable to concieve. Beautiful baby girl was born the 14th. The ladies at church were, of course, throwing a baby shower. I HAD to make a fast quilt, the shower was Saturday! I had a cute pink jelly roll and used a pattern I'd seen from MQS'S called - Amazing Jelly Roll Quilt by 3Dudes. It measures 50". I backed it in soft pink minky but used no batt. My baby granddaughter's favorite blankie is flimsy like this so I stepped out of my box and used no batt. I added a 3" silky ruffle and quilted it in hearts and flowers on the edge with a large flower in the center and big hearts in the corners. My second attempt at quilting on my Viking Topaz 30....
