I made these potholders to donate to the local women's shelter - they are always asking for donations of household goods, and I called, and they said they would use/need potholders.

I thought it would be a good chance to use up some of my scraps and fabrics that were given to me and aren't really what I'd choose to work with anymore.

Surprisingly, I think my favorite is the one with the little lamb (it's made of the fabrics that aren't "me"), although until I made it I was really liking the crumb-pieced ones best.

I made a tutorial for my method of making potholders. I bring the backing to the front for binding. It is posted here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-97674-1.htm

Very nice. I really like the pink, blue and orange pattern but all are great.

Thanks! It's a great way to use up orphan blocks, or just play with your fabric.
