    Default Quick quilt

I made this quilt for my boss who has been undergoing intensive chemotheraphy for an aggessive form of liver cancer. The treatment rooms are very cold so I know this will help. I made it without a pattern, just large blocks in tan and grey prints with brown accents. I got a chance to practice my feathers, not perfect but getting better. Thanks for looking!

What a beautiful gift! This is bound to give comfort and warmth during the treatments. Your feathers are very good....I am not even game to try them.

What a nice way to show you care. That is so beautiful! If he brings it to treatment, he'll get lots of extra attention from nurses, many of whom are also quilters. We found that to be true when I made my dad a photo quilt to have on his bed when he had heart surgery. Many people stopped by to see it, which gave him lots of pleasant attention, and I think it helped in his recovery.
