    Finished. I quilted in the 'red' areas so that the red thread would compliment the back.

    I did not get a picture of yellowbird's skirt, sorry about that. Angiecub I really like both of yours, but I favor the first one better..good job on both.

    Well, yellowbird's skirt did come up after I sent my first reply. I like it very well and I do like the ruffled border..will look pretty under any tree.

    I made one using the same pattern - only I had a 10 degree ruler - I used the Flurry fabric by Kate Spain - still working on the ruffle - I think this is a cute christmas skirt.

    I have a 9 degree ruler but no imagination as to what to make with it. I purchased it to make the spiral table runner in a class at my LQS.

    Thank you for posting these. I like both the binding and ruffle. I have a UFO of this that is probably 10 years old that might just get finished after seeing these!
