    Used my 9 degree wedge ruler....pattern by Cheryl Phillips.

    This is FAR from perfect. The colors are much brighter, but the photo was taken without a flash.
    Still needs to be quilted.

    Not difficult to make - it is just that I really dislike ruffles.

    It is very pretty. I too am not a fan of ruffles! I need to get busy with my 9 degree ruler!!

    I make these too but have never done one with a ruffle. I do a regular quilt binding instead. Here are a couple of pictures.

    Yellow Bird, yours is very pretty. Love the spiral effect. The ruffle--yeah could take or leave it. Angiecub, I love the second photo. I wonder if you could adapt it to make it look like a huge multi-segmented dresden plate. And this is all done with a 9 degree ruler?? I think I have to add that to my wish list for Christmas (or before!!)
