Great quilts and a perfect way to showcase fabrics you don't want to cut up. That for the idea.

What a great way to use novelty prints. I will have to look through my stash for a fun print.

Forgot to mention what a great stashbuster this quilt is! I cut out four of them at one time and was able to use things I had in my stash for too long. As Jan mentioned, it's wonderful for large prints you don't want to cut. I usually select a large print for the widest stripes, then a smaller print or tonal for the medium stripes, then a contrasting solid for the skinny stripes. It takes me about an hour to make the top, including cutting time. Quilting... not so quick. But at least the piecing is fast.
I just made two this morning. I used two totally different fabric sets. I cut extra accent strips to add at top, bottom and sides- as faux binding. I'm going to make a reversible quilt by using both tops and birthing it. It took longer to choose fabrics than to make the tops! Love this pattern. Thanks again.

Beautiful Quilts! Thank you for posting the link to the Quick Strippie pattern. Your quilts look so snuggly. I like the loft of your batting. Do you remember what type of batting you used? Thank you and Happy Quilting!
