Default Quilt for 1st Great granddaughter

This is the quilt I made for my 1st great granddaughter who will arrive on September 26th. I can hardly wait to hold her. Doc say she has LOTS of black hair. I hope she carries this quilt for years, the way her grandmother carried hers. I put a favorite saying just below the stripped border. In case you can't read it, it says, "Let her sleep, for when she wakes, she will move mountains."

An adorable little quilt. I have a little pile of baby quilts - waiting, waiting and waiting for my grandchildren to become parents.

RainyBC, I know the feeling exactly. I made a Sunbonnet Sue with a bluebird border a few years ago and liked it so much I have saved it for my 1st ggd. At last, it will be used!
