Never mind it looks just beautiful. Now take a deep breath and take a bow as well, great work.

I called my Mom today and she said that quilt is just too big- it drags on the floor on both sides. So if you know someone you want to give it to.... Seriously? Well I half expected this. But what I don't understand is why it's too wide for a bedspread. There was a post last week on the QB with pictures and dimensions of the twin quilts she had made. They weren't that much smaller than Mom's and there was plenty of room for the extra width before it would hit the floor. Mom's bed must be weird. She says it's just a normal twin bed but I don't see how. The next time I visit her she'll probably make me bring it home. Sheesh!

Your mother may not truly recognize it's beauty but we do & it's lovely. She probably just doesn't know how to
appreciate things fearing they will be taken from her, but deep down inside I bet she is thrilled. You should be very proud of your quilt it's quite an accomplishment !!

Your quilt is gorgeous. I wish my Mom were here so I could give her a quilt for her bed. I am sorry your mom reacted the way she did, but as you said, that is her personality. I love the quilt as I know how much time, effort, and love went into it.

You and your family have certainly been through a rough patch to say the least !!! I'm sorry for your loss - and hope all the other problems are fixed soon!! Know exactly what you mean about your Mom....we have the same one!! But your quilt is beautiful, and was obviously meant to be what it was because you finished it despite the troubles. You have an amazing attitude !!!!

I love the quilt. Floral, my favorite ! You should be very proud. Use it and think of her not the mistakes that you think that you made.
