    You girls did great! How fun to have someone doing the same pattern and have it come out so completely different in the visual effect. I love them both.

    Both quilts are stunning! I always love how different people can have the same exact pattern but the fabrics chose make the end result so different and all so beautiful. I do something similar with my mother in law every month where I pick a pattern/project to do and we have the month to complete it. Once completed we then share with one another! The goal was to use up fabric in our own stash and also to get my mother in law motivated to not only start a project but complete them as well! So far so good although she is a little behind but it is so much fun! I pick small projects such as wall hangings, table runners, etc. Our May project is the American Flag made of tumbler blocks. I thought it would be perfect in honor of Memorial Day and July 4th! Great job ladies!
