After asking for help with a border, I decided to just use the self-border of the square. I took it to a local FA quilter who did the quilting and sewed the binding on. I hand stitched it to the back and as I did I prayed for the recipient. He's a single guy who has a heart of gold but needs the Lord and a wife (in that order!). I hope he loves it and will know my husband and I wish him well.

    The pattern is Bonnie Scotsman-

One day he'll thank the Lord for his blessings - and I'm sure having you for a friend will be one of them!
