    I was trying to make quilt blocks called "Strip Twist". Well, I cut the strips wrong by cutting all of them on a right angle. Thought it was a tragedy, until I decided to see what new design I could make from all these strip-pieced triangles, and this table topper is what I came up with. I think it's rather interesting.

    I like it. It's amazing how we can make our mistakes look like we planned them, isn't it? That's part of the creativity of quilting.

    I think maybe that's how new designs are discovered. Nice work.
