This is a quilt I made for my niece Emily. Emily is 9 years old and has Asburger's, a milder form of Autism. My brother and his family moved to Idaho 2 years ago hoping to find a better life for her and the rest of the family.

Emily has been having a hard time lately. She wonders why she has to be different and feels she doesn't want to live. They are working on trying to get her some help. I think there have been more medical issues as well, haven't heard the results yet.

I finished this one last weekend.

Emily's favorite colors are Lime Green and Hot Pink and her favorite animal is horses

Another wonderful quilt for a special neice. We'll be thinking special thoughts for her. No 9 year old should feel that way.

Emily will love the bright colored quilt you have made her. You're a kind aunt to make this for her.

Certainly hope her family can find a way to help this precious child.

I love your quilt. My nephew has Asburgers also. He is 14 and has problems with interaction with his age group. It's so hard for the child and the parents.
