Quilt finally done..
I finally got this quilt done and I am pretty happy how it came out. As I had said before when I was asking how to quilt this, that I really am not the greatest doing FMQ on my sewing machine. I can do loops and circles and swirls but they don't always look perfect, or round some look more oblong but I will keep practicing and some day I will be able to do feathers..
I have to thank ManiacQulter2 for sharing a site that had the same quilt as I made so I could see how she had quilted it. Hers was done with feathers all over and she outlined the star, so I did outline the star and did a swirl design all over, as me and feathers don't do well..My swirls are not perfect and some look pretty bad but maybe next time they will be better, sometimes when I am quilting a swirl my hands just don't do what I want them to do, also does everyone that is starting out FMQ have there stitches all different sizes, for the life of me I can't get them all the same I try and go slow but sometimes I end up going faster and don't even realize this.. oh well more practice more.
Thanks for looking at my quilt.

Your quilt is beautiful and so is your quilting! I love your colors! I am going to FMQ class Monday. So far, all I can do is SID quilting. So I admire all of the beautiful quilting on here and dream that one day I will...I have tries and my hands don't work right!

Good job! I used to obsess over stitch size until I looked really closely at others work. Go over to Lori Kennedy's site www.theinboxjaunt.com and do a close up of some of her machine quilting tutorials. I noticed that some of her stitches vary in sizes. She does great work and I decided perfectly perfect stitches are over rated.
