Very colorful and he will enjoy it for a long time. Seems my Gransons appreciate my quilts more than Granddaughters. Great job !!!

That's a great quilt. He'll love it. Did I see that pattern in one of my quilting magazines?

Maybe. It was one of the free blocks I found online somewhere. Not sure where. I put the pattern away in a safe place...well, you know the rest of that story. I wonder where I'll find it at. Evidently it is so safe even I can't find it. It is called the Maple Leaf but when I saw it all I could think of was arrows and how it would make a great child's quilt. I was going to go find some race car fabric but then my friend gifted me with all the elephant blue and yellow fabric. I can't resist free fabric!

It's one of those rare quilts where all the seam lines matched up the first time. Wow!!! I was so impressed. That usually only happens once every few years. I did sew one of the blocks backwards. Not sure how but it was the only thing I had to pick out and redo, which isn't bad for me. I'm very good at reverse sewing!
