Last night was our monthly meeting. The speaker talked about all the bargains and treasures she finds at garage sales, estate sales, and flea markets. Then she held up a box and said "the first person to stand would get the box. I got the box. It contained a book on making cathedral window quilts, and the box was filled with cut squares to make the quilt. Some of the blocks had been made already, some complete, some partial, but it looks like there are enough cut squares to complete the quilt. The newspaper clipping in the box was dated July 27, 1976, and I suspect that is when this project originated. I think this definitely counts as a UFO.

Nice to have your inspector to cheer you on. I love Cathedral Window quilts. Another to do on my list.
